Seasick that's a great idea actually. Forgot having two tanks I can measure each one individually without getting stranded.
I do use the 1/3 rule when going to the tuna grounds, but I always wondered what amount of useable gas I actually am basing my 1/3 rule off of if that makes sense? Was...
I'm in the same boat as you wahoo, 2005 f250s , m19 props and I max out at 44-45mph with light load, fresh scrape/paint and tail wind. But I do cruise at between 3800-4200. For some reason my engines hummmm so beautifully in that range.
I think you'll be fine with the power aspect. No speed demon, but sufficient. The 272/282 came with option 200 hpdi outboards and I'm pretty sure the new zukes produce more torque than them. .
I have a sailfish but similar height. My holders are way to high to grab them without doing a monkey swing with one hand. Not easy when out in the ocean. I'm trying to find a mobile welder to have them dropped 5 inches. Just something to think about before the install.
Model # 17075086 Springfield twin 46 flip up.
I thought I took pictures and for whatever reason I can't find them in my phone. I'm going back to the marina and another week to hopefully pick up my boat from getting the yearly maintenance done. I'll snap some pics and put them up. If you have...
Yep ok, that's what thought. I searched and found the same part numbers, yet no one stocks them. I called perko and they said only a dealer can order them. Which is stupid. I ended up getting the full stainless from grady and haven't installed them yet because I'm still not comfortable putting...
I had my b744 on that transducer pad (2001 282) without a fairing block and it performed very well up to 30ish mph. I currently have a b765, it's the same as the b744 but with chirp, and again no fairing block on the transducer pad.
Just installed it. Couple of notes. It's much more supportive than the seat I replaced. If you are sitting on the side where bolster can flip up, it sorta makes you sit up right correctly. If you switch positions and sit opposite of the flip up boslter (fixed position), it's more roomy and...
I think you guys are correct, I just needed to make sure before the install. Last thing I wanted to do is have to change it all around after the fact. Thank you guys!
I currently have quantum radar sitting on top of 5-in pedestal. I know these pictures aren't the best but here's few from after I installed the quantum radar. And then here's another close-up of one from when I first bought the boat with the old radar.
My fear is obviously that it will obstruct...
Did a quick search and couldn't find any pictures. Just wanted to see if anyone else has installed foot on their hardtop and how they approached it. Did you end up installing it upside down etc?
Im looking to do the exact same thing as you! It appears tho that the backrest/bolster portion below the side window is attached some how. I tried wiggling it today just to see if I could lift it up and off, but no luck.
I'm debating on raising my companion seat 5 inches and i know I need to remove the bolts from the storage compartment underneath. What I'm not sure of is how to remove the back/bolster that is attached to the port side? Has anyone done this?
