I have a 97' Islander with hydraulic steering. I think thats the proper term. It takes a lot of wheel rotation to make the engines move for turning. The resevoir at the helm is full but it acts like there is air in the line. Any suggestions or is this just the way it is? yb

What si the proper procedure for shutting down an outboard engine?? A mechanic has just told me that the carberator on my Evinrude had only oil and no gas. Is this the result of not running all the fuel out of the engiine when shutting down? yb
