I'm installing a new Garmin 4010 on my Gulfstream. The device asks for 14 AWG wire. The previous owner already wired 10 AWG up the pole. is there any risk in me using the 10 AWG instead? If I can avoid having to run the wire again then I'd like to use what's there. thanks in advance for any info.

I just noticed a small hole in the clear windows of my canvas. Luckily it's only the size of a quarter and in between the blue canvas on top and bottom. anyone have any tips on how to patch the hole? short of covering it with clear packing tape which likely won't last long in salt water...
