    who has done this, i would like to hear your feedback. i did put an extra 200# of water on the back and scuppers were still above the water(aux tank wasn't full). the boat has 225 ox66's now but 1 is blown.

    oil leak

    used the boat yesterday and went to wash the boat the next morning and oil spots under the props and oil streaks inside one prop, not sure what could have caused this. Will be pulling props and looking at seals, and checking the oil for water. I did a lot of trolling that day.

    broken spot light on a 1998 272 sailfish

    after fishing in 2-4 ' seas on sunday I found a broken spotlight , snapped of the inner post that spins I think . We had a few heavy waves but nothing I would think would breeak this.     trailer and tow vehicle for 272 sailfish

    1998 272 sailfish best possible fuel burn

    I am curious if anyone is running 4-strokes on this boat, and is it even worth thinking about repowering, offshore gave me a good chart for 225 oxss and an average of 1.6-1.7gallons per mile@ 3500-4000rpm. My sea trial is 09:00 on saturday and looking forward to riding in a grady!!!

    another new grady owner

    I just put a deposit on a 1998 272 sailfish from taylor marine. This will be the biggest boat I've owned, 22' whaler previously. Looks like I will be reading a lot of post on the sailfish. Seatrial is this week.
