Save yourself the aggravation and just buy the 4cyl f200. Read all the threads on here about it. I have 350 hours on mine and I love it.

I just finished installing a stereo system on my 208, I haven't had a chance to take photos yet but I will get over to the boat tomorrow and snap a few pics. I used fiberglass boxes from SMS Sportfish Parts. They weren't cheap but I didn't want to drill 7" holes in my boat so they were worth it.

I saw on THT that International Marine makes some sweet CNC switch panels and trim pieces. I was thinking about sending all my fake wood pieces in the mail and seeing if he can duplicate them in the fake carbon fiber pattern of the new GW's. Hard to believe that the fake wood ever looked good.

I also recently repowered my 208 with an I-4 Yamaha. I absolutely love it so far but I agree with everyone else that it might be not be enough for a 228.
