    Not sure if the cable is your problem. I had the same problem. I replaced cables and it still did it. I was told it may be shift dog. That was my problem.Your situation may be different. Good luck. Dan

    Removing Boat Name

    I used the oven cleaner on 10 year old boat. IT worked very well. Spray on, let sit,stiff brush and power washer.repeat as needed. Not sure if power washer is even needed.     272 console hinge

    Thanks Rob. I was thinking of adding some tabs to the inside of the plexi that would lock up under the top of the box. I would then slip them in and lock it. Might be longer lasting but I would have to store it as it would be completely removable.

    Has anyone replaced the spring loaded hinges that help hold the door open on the electonics box on the dash? My second one finally broke .Ifso, where did you get them? Maybe you've found a better system to keep this door open. Any help appreciated. Dan

    FloScan question

    This has always worked for me but that's how it was when I got the boat (3 yrs ago). I just wrote my total after each trip to keep track between fillups.I think I would like it better though if it kept a running total until I refilled. Thanks for the tip. Easy enough to set-up. Dan

    Anything that cuts the power.I have a switch in dash.Also, when I turn off my batteries after each trip, it resets itself.
