272 console hinge

Has anyone replaced the spring loaded hinges that help hold the door open on the electonics box on the dash? My second one finally broke .Ifso, where did you get them? Maybe you've found a better system to keep this door open. Any help appreciated. Dan

Dan: I replaced mine recently. Unfortunately I paid $22 each from the dealer. I didn't find them anywhere else. Now I'm more aware of keeping the plexiglass lid down when runnning in bumpy water.

Thanks Rob. I was thinking of adding some tabs to the inside of the plexi that would lock up under the top of the box. I would then slip them in and lock it. Might be longer lasting but I would have to store it as it would be completely removable.

These are Southco hinges. Not sure if you can find a better price than $22.
