I have been "between Grady's" now since August and haven't been on here for a long time. Good to see the site is still cooking and to see the familiar, and new names. I had to get my Grady fix - I was jonesin bad. I'll try to visit more often. Just starting a new venture - that next Grady...

Took two new fishin buddies out trolling for gags in Tampa Bay today. We got into 'em good, nothing huge but good numbers. Here's one of the keepers destined to become sandwiches for several lucky folks! First time out in a while for me, so I was very pleased. Boat ran like a champ!

Decided to get a little Friday evening fishin in for a change, so I grabbed my son and out we went. A friend had alerted me to the fact that Pepe LaPue was in the area stinking up the grouper bite today, so on our way out to the channel I was scanning for birds and bait. Man did we find them...

Went offshore with some friends today and had a blast. Caught grouper, grunts, pigfish and a few kings. Here's the catch of the day: Went 4' and is currently getting made into a lot of smoked fish spread!

I guess half a grouper is better than none! This would have been a nice one. Still had enough left for a couple sandwiches!

Been doing quite well on the gags right in the bay. My Gulfstream is great - very stable while trolling through huge freighter wakes and the snot we sometimes encounter out there. Here's a few pics:
