Mine was installed w/ 1/4-20 through bolts & fender washers. Not sure if this was from the factory, not too pretty...

Thanks for the reply & pic. Looks like your seatback was lower than mine, my seatback doesn't go below the hinges like yours. Still going to check for the snaps.

As I stated above, mine was installed w/ screws/bolts. I'll be looking for snaps on the bottom of my rear seatback tomorrow, thanks. It moved only slightly when I tried lifting it straight up.

Are you referring to the "Passenger Seat" when you say "Companion"" Mine was held in with screws/bolts............

Anyone know how the rear seatback on a '95 Islander is installed? Is it the same as the bolsters? See Pics.

Did you add the SS to the transom? How thick was it? Where did you get it? How did it work?

Will a 25" shaft '95 Johnson 175 fit on a '75 204C?

I am in the process of replacing the Twin '95 175 Johnsons w/ '05 Evinrude 175's. Question on the wiring of the Battery Isolator. I failed to take note of how the Isolator was connected. There are 4 wires going to the Isolator as illustrated in the attachment, but I'm not sure on where they were...

I agree not being able to find 1 with the scupper/flapper........and they're very $$$ (bronze)!! I'm leaning towards replacing the hoses and leaving the thru hull fittings and replacing the flappers.

Looked at my scupper hoses tonight and confirmed my suspicions that they need replacing. Any recommendations for scuppers and where to purchase? Stainless, bronze, plastic, etc....???

Were the scuppers so low you got water on the deck?

The aux fuel tank is fwd of the main.

So it sounds like I should ok............have not pulled the trigger yet.

I checked w/ the insurance and they said no problem
