    Gulfstream cabin functionality

Intent is not to sleep all in the cabin haha. That would be comical. That ain't happening in less than a Marlin. Either 2 adults while kids are at the grandparents. 1 adult and 1 kid on boys trip. Or 2 kids in cabin, 2 adults on deck under extended shelter over the cockpit

    Gulfstream cabin functionality

Curious if you had twins or a single on you Islander? Seems like a lot of boat for a single but see tons out there with a single 250

    Gulfstream cabin functionality

Hey all. For decades I’ve always loved the idea of the Gulfstream because of the beam, but never actually been on one on the water. Only sitting on a rack at the dealer a long, long time ago. The cabin layout is very non-standard compared to every other sub-33’ walkaround or express style boat...

    23 Gulstream cabin questions

Local place has a 2018 listed. Far out of our budget but may swing by there if I can ever get a break from work and just check out the bunk size.

    Filling holes..........

Taping over the bottom half of the hole like DennisG mentioned definitely helps if the epoxy tries to slump out. Doesn't take much to work, painters tape or duct tape works just fine.

    23 Gulstream cabin questions

Thanks for the input. Our expectations for accommodations are low. This is our camping out. We can do without a genny, AC/heat, etc. We just need a little bit of cushion and sleeping bags. I'm about 5'11" and shes about 5'4". Neither of us are large people but not exactly bean poles either. In...

    Filling holes..........

I typically clean out the holes with an appropriately sized drill bit just slightly larger to ensure a good clean surface, then use a stepped bit to create a little bit of cone shape in the head of the hole, then fill with west systems six10 thickened epoxy. If the screw holes are really small...

    23 Gulstream cabin questions

Hey all. I linger around this site from time to time but rarely post since I don't currently own a Grady. A buddy and I are considering a boat partnership and splitting a wet slip in order to avoid the ever increasingly crowded ramps here in Charleston. I currently have a Pursuit 2350 walkaround...

    Net Flix Series Outerbanks

Watched the first episode last night. Pretty dang dumb so far. But good scenery. It was mostly filmed here around Charleston, SC. There was a local paper article about it here and how they moved the filming here after NC's bathroom law ordeal, so they abandoned filming in the Outer Banks. Their...

What's the current status of it? Where are you at with it project wise? Full transom or notched?

Transom Seal (Should I Be Worried?)

Most manufacturers, Grady included, use that B.S. aluminum cap and goop it up with sealant as their way to trim it out and seal up the gap between the hull and the liner/cap. This is also why you see the full transom boats with original, and still solid, transoms a lot more frequently than you...

    2006 Sailfish 2660 WAC curtains

Here's some links that may be helpful for you for a Sailfish 2660 WAC. As stated by the others, a Sailfish 2660 WAC is not a Grady-White, it's a Sailfish. Sailfish boats are built down in Cairo, GA. https://www.sailfishboats.com/ http://sailfishownersforum.proboards.com/

    252G Sailfish weight

I’ve seen the published weight, and can do the guesstimates for the plus engines, plus fuel, plus trailer, plus guess at gear and misc... But have any of y’all actually ran a 252G across a scale and gotten a verified weight?

Looking for some models in Charleston, SC area

Hey all, not new to boats, and not really new to Grady's either. But new to the forum. Any members here in the Lowcountry of SC? I'm about to start off a search for a new-to-me boat. A few Grady's are on the list. I'm just trying to find a few specimens in the Charleston area to take a look at...
