    1999 Grady 272 Transom

The manufacturer has very little to do with the condition of a used boat. It's all about previous owners!!!! I've seen some really nice Bayliner, VW, Jeep, Gremlin, etc. As the man said, have them send a video. If it's a crummy video or they refuse, you know what was important and they have no...

    WTB: Grady 232

A 232 is to heavy for a single, especially in following seas. If you must go that way, a real SEA trial should be accomplished. If you are inland or lake, you'll be OK! IMHO

    232 Gulfstream w/twins no affliation

Well your thoughts might not be professionally based, comparing the downturn in recent sales of less than 50' boats. Especially this time of year, which sees a reduction of sales till January 15th. While many appreciate your following of available boats, some may also realize you are no expert...

Black water - why in you world would this happen?

Glad you found the "problem", it's never over when it involves the "Grady system ". If you must take out the gauge, I would call 800-867-1411 "Marine Sanitation & Supply-Seattle. Ask for advice, etc. They have been there, done that! I would precede that with tank blaster, see my previous post...

This is always a problem with Grady waste system, you would think they would address this. It was not a problem in the past, over the side. Now with family's and environmental issues it is! GW? I just purchased a 5th wheel, their is a big problem with the dreaded pyramid (different learning...

    Fuel milage?

Fuel is the least cost of boating. If you're that concerned, buy your fish! Boating is not for penny pincher,s. Getting from point A to B is not about the miles, alot more variables are in place. If you worry about fuel price, you would not survive boating in Canada.

    Cockpit heat ideas 208 Adventure

Picture 2/10 is Starboard side next to your right knee, that is the "Starboard" I used to cover the heater after install. Fresh air vent runs down Starboard side Aft to cockpit (hold it short-so it does not stick out). Exhaust is out Starboard side see picture. Heat goes under dash to under...

    Engine trim with batteries off?

I can't tell you how many times I have climbed up into my boat to turn on/off battery switches. The end result, when the batteries are off "EVERYTHING" is dissconnected from power. To say, "that is not how Grady or my last one was wired,? I prefer, "thats what works for me! Safety and intuitive...

    Twin Yamaha 150’s woes

If you can see the prop repairs, I would have both props tuned to proper specs. Also, if you take the lower unit off in the future, take it to the prop shop to "fix/fill" the skeg.
