Just a heads up, I’m local to that boat and it is the second time it has been listed in a year. Fwiw be cautious and ask good questions.

What really sketches me out about that website and “Atlantic pro” is they tow all their boats to the exact same strip of hwy/service road and take the pictures. I have no idea why, but that just raises a flag for me. Then all of the websites are not secure, but they advertise financing...

How are you guys doing on your search? There is a clean 2003 228 in lauderdale, iffy websites attached to the add though. There was a 99 w/out hardtop here in Pensacola repowered, reached back out to the owner yesterday and he said it was under contract.

I don’t even want to think about how difficult/expensive they will be to find/purchase in the next 5 years.

I searched images for a while and could not find any. I’ve seen a few posts on this forum stating that the factory tops are not designed to support weight.

In for the thread. I will be looking for a 228 soon and it would be awesome to find a nice one near Pensacola. Have not had an opportunity to fish one yet either if anyone ever needs an extra body.
