Thx NoBail. Was told by the Yamaha folks to have a compression check when Moonshine is pulled out in October. If readings are above the minimum of 107.3 and there is no more than a 10 % difference between the 6 cylinder readings, I sgould be OK.

I have a 2007 Seafarer 226. Love the boat but have been getting increased squeaking from the steering wheel. Can I WD40 the 1/4 inch or so between the wheel and housing? Thanks

Bought my first used Grady in October, 226 Seafarer, great condition but armrests needed replacement. Took them to a local upholsterer in Orleans (Cape Cod) MA and she recovered them . Great job, looks like new. . $200 for 4 arm rests. I can send pics if you are interested.

Thanks for the info Doc. Can you tell me what is the helm kit comprised of?

System bled with little sign of air pockets. Mechanic says the helm mechanism may need replacement which would involve 2 hrs labor. Does anyone have an idea of parts cost? Thanks
