Has anybody ever put a trolling motor on this model? Is it awkward since it is a deep V boat? I the shaft long, so long that it's a pain to stowe? If someone had picture to post too :)

I have a 6 month old Freedom 285 Grady White which I really have enjoyed so far. My question is the dive door on the side when opened rubs the rail of my rear bench seat. Should I make them fix this correctly or do I just let it go?

I took delivery of a 285 Freedom about a month ago, It was recommended to keep the boat plugged in while not in use on my dock. Why is the draw on amperage so high (30 amps)? I only have 15 amp receptacles on my dock so I am using a converter plug with a standard extension cord and not have any...
