I get so many conflicting opinions on how many hours you can reasonably get from a 4 stroke Yamaha I wanted to see what ya'll think....what about a 2 stroke Yamaha.

It sounds like a good idea which means it will never work....we have many places to buy non-ethanol gas in Ocean City...that's all I use in my four boats...let it sit up for ten months untreated with air in the tank and see what you get...you get carb job. :bang

If you always run stabilized fuel then you will always have stabilized fuel in the bowls when you put it up for the winter....only buy what you are going to burn....more or less.

I agree with Jekyl...get two of everything....spare prop & prop wrench....some good shrinkwrap tape - ever had a hose spring a leak...Tools...flashlights...good serrated knife - ever run over a dock line?...good pair of side cuts - ever run over a crap pot?...Hand held VHF & GPS - ever run into...

How much are used 205's going for these days...what motor did you get?

Single motor is way different for skiing than Duals...two wakes.

Have 232 Gulfstream...would be o.k. to pull a tube if you didn't go really fast...wouldn't recommend for small children...No way would you want to ski behind a 232 the wake is too steep...Now Wakeboarding behind a 232 would be best of all...you could sky.

Annapolis is the Granddaddy of them all...around here anyway...Ft. Lauderdale or Miami down south New York or Atlantic City up north...Annapolis is in October.

A friend had that problem and he just got a good white deck paint...and added some fine beach sand to the gallon...start out with a little sand then increase to desired roughness...make sure to test it on a scrap board and not on the boat until you have the consistency you want.

There is a 1993 like yours on Yachtworld for $5900...I sold a 1999 w/a 200hp Mercury 2 stroke and trailer for $13000...yours looks clean...all I can say is aim high...you can always come down.
