1989 Sailfish with factory outriggers. I have to replace one spreader cable on a single spreader rigger. Does any one know how the top of the cable can be removed? Can I press out the pin that secures the cable to the top bracket? It has a round end and a knurled end. Which way does it come...

    Handrail Nuts / Sailfish

I guess I'll be cutting access holes. Any one have any tips? I guess I'll use the 6" or 8" round deck plates / covers. I was thinking about cutting holes between two rail mounting locations and trying to reach two sets of nuts through one hole. Wishful thinking? Thanks for the replies...

    Water in Cabin

1989 252 Sailfish Help. I get a water leak in the cabin ( both sides ) along the seam that is covered by the teak strips that run from the anchor access back to the bulkhead. I took the teak off. I can't find any leak when I soak the boat with a hose. I don't see a leak when I'm...

    Fuel burn '88 sailfish

I have a 1989 252 Sailfish w/twin 1996 Yamaha 150 Saltwater Series. At about 3200 RPM cruise, I get about 15 - 16 GPH on my floscan gauge. Seems about right judging from my gas bills. I would hope your results are better than mine.
