    Yamaha F350V6

Evidently Yamaha will release a 4.2 V6 350 in the spring. Grady has already updated the max HP on the 235/236 from 300 to 350 and 600 to 700 on the 285 (307?) Look forward to updated performance reports on these models. I know my 235 would be happier with 40-50 more HP.

Updated models and interiors for 2011

What are the thoughts on the new interior colors on the Tournament/Freedom models? Appear to be Scout like tan/cream color. Some other nice interior improvements, and the integrated T tops on the 209 and 230 look good, but I wonder about the strenght? The tops are not mounted directly to the...

    New Freedom 255 DC

Got a feed from the FB site. Looks like another popular DC to bridge the gap from the 225. 8'6" beam, 24'9" . Should be a nice fit with the new F300. Transom layout appears to give good stern seating and storage but without the bracket ala the 225. I like it...

    "New" 192 and Canyon 366

Good to see Grady is moving forward in a down market. Interesting to reintroduce the 192 while at the same time producing the Canyon 366. Wonder what demand there is for a 36 GW cc now? The 192 should be a good entry level boat again.

Seller's remorse!! Wish I still had my 205

Sold my 205 last month and looking for another boat. I've had 3 Gradys and what am I searching for on boat Trader and elswhere now? A 205! For what I want to do with a boat, it was perfect for me, and I got caught up in the sell, world is coming to an end psychology. But mostly I just...

228 with the 225 transom layout?

Any thoughts on why Grady uses a different stern seating/livewell/fishbox layout on the 228 vs the 225? I realize the 225 does not have the under helm seat fish box, but I much prefer the flip down bench with the livewell and fishbox in the transom cap. A large cooler in front of the...

    Twin Verados, older Grady

Don't see this every day. Twin 200 verados on a Trophy Pro. That is a ton of money (65K according to the broker) sunk (no pun intended) in this boat. Wonder how it handles the weight on the bracket. The waterline is painted well above the scuppers...

205 T ski pylon alternative, information on OEM part needed

I really would like to have a ski pylon on my 205, but not sold on the idea of buying one for $1100+. For that money I could get a wake tower built. Considering getting a custom built pylon that serves the same purpose as the OEM model. I would be ok if it was not removable, and may...

First splash of the season this weekend. Anyone else?

I'm am waayyy late this year for the first trip in the boat. Between Little League, tax season and rain every weekend I have not had my boat out yet. I've got a full tank of fuel (I hope, unless someone has siphoned it) and have got all of the maintenance and some upgrades done. Have...

Looking for cupholder drains/3/8 thru hulls

I want to add the on-deck drains to the cupholders that the factory decided did not need them. Anyone find a source for the little white plastic 3/8 through hulls that GW uses? I have 4 cupholders that currently drain into the bilge and I want the small drains to match the others. The...

Make ready list for 2008, what else should I add...

I am ready to get the boat ready for the season. Going to take off a couple days next week to get the boat ready. I think I actually enjoy working on the boat this time of year as much as using it. My list includes replace raw water pump on engine Install new spark plugs and full...

    228 Seafarer companion bench seat

I looked at a new 228 at a local boat show today. It was equipped with the standard helm chair and the port companion bench/L shaped seat. It really made a big difference in the helm space. Walking through to the helm or cabin was much easier than this model equipped with the twin deluxe...
