The lites are fused at the block in the overhead box...did you check it with test lite ? I had same problem. Had a dead short in the power lead to the lites that run thru the hard top tubing. Impossible to access, so ran a new hot lead outside the hardtop tubing. Came out great

Most folks not happy with Starboard. I took off the faded Duratrim and sanded the wood grain decal off, down to a nice solid brown color and gave them a few coats of marine urethane. Used new screws and i think it looks great. Has held up really well. Can post some pics if you are interested.

What pitch and diameter prop are you running?

I had lots of problems with corrosion on the cheesy little pin connectors.....created all kinds of problems.....not saltwater rated as far as I'm concerned. When I put tabs on my next boat I didn't get the indicator for that reason.

Are you asking for trouble...yes. Scuppers will be under the waterline, and when u get two guys on the stern..oh boy! Hull not meant for that heavy an engine. HPDI is a great engine til it breaks....way too complicated and way too many parts for me. I have a 95 208 with an F200XB..it's excellent...

Make sure your engine height is correct...most are to low. Huge difference in performance when combined with the right prop. Cavitation plate should be at or close to water surface at speed.....check it out next time out.

Yup....3 holes are there, just couldn't figure out what size and thread. 10mm X 1.0 seem right but would stop after going in about 2 threads. No big deal pulling the bolts

The 3 empty holes in the flywheel are odd pitch thread. Flywheel bolts are 10 mm x 1.0 pitch. I just removed 3 bolts and will use those with longer bolts

Yup....just noticed he responded to my earlier prop question post. I know what prop he is using and his performance numbers. Gotta raise my engine...think that will fix most of my issues...gonna put the 17 back on too.

Is that a 208? I noticed your F200 is mounted on the third hole. How's the performance? Mine is mounted on the first hole and performance is not great getting on plane. Going to bump it up to the third hole. What prop are you running? Nice job, by the way

Been talking with Ken online and read his tutorial on engine height....I have all the symptoms of engine too low for my hull.......will check that out first. Thanks for all the input. Professionally installed doesn't mean correct! I might have assumed too much...keep watching!

is yours a 4 blade? Like to get an inexpensive prop 15 pitch 14 1/4 diameter to try it and have a spare......best place to shop props online?

Hull is a 95, with a hardtop, F200 4 cyl. 4 stroke. O n the west coast we can almost never run wot due to water conditions......25 mph is typical cruise speed. Think I'm tacking around 4000 to 4200 now at that sp eed.
