I have 2003 F225's on 98 boat. I was replacing the fuel management gauge and noticed that the Yamaha gauges in have snap connectors and are ganged by what looks like a tinned copper fitting accepting 3 snap connectors and 1 wire crimped on. These are covered by a nice thick clear rubber boot...

I actually have go-fish's 98 wih F225s - had it for 5 years or so and love it.

thanks for the input gentlemen. I do not have pictures but will try to get some. Based on what we have here and a couple of calls to grady dealers (only got through to one due to the holidays) it sounds like I should have them pulled and replaced.

Hi - I recently had a compartment lid rebuilt and it was very expensive. I was wondering if anyone new where I could look for compartment lids from a used 306 .... someone scrapping etc?

Not sure if this helps but on two of my grady's (232 and a 306) I had one of the plastic elbows crack that was on a drain - if the waves hit the through hull the water would wash in, so it was difficult to find as it did not happen on every trip

I am in the process of having to replace all of the lifts on the compartent lids for my 306 ... just aged and rusted. At the Grady store these are about $65 each and I will need 6 of them - was wondering if anyone knew of an online store or place I could get them for less? :roll:
