Those are gimbal mounts. Some ppl advised me not to use them. Bolted in mounts seem to be the preferred choice. But I hope they work well for you!

Thanks for the tip. I didn't even think about leaving the top opened. That would solve the problem for all my antenna's, radar, etc... I'll have to check locally to see if someone would outfit a cover for a reasonable price. Cheers!
