Hello there, first post on the forum but I’ve been lurking for a while. I need some help on my project, 1985 Tournament 190. Bought a trailer and it had the boat on it (with title). Boat was basically free but is in terrible shape. That being said I’ve always wanted to redo an older boat and the kids and I needed a project to keep us busy. So....
Motor is shot and been pulled off. Transom was rotten and has been dug out. Floors are spongy and will come out next. Fuel tank is out and will be replaced if I continue with this project.
I’m sure the transom that I took out was not the original. I think the last transom repair was less than complete. I’d like to get some pics of what the transom should look like on the inside. I’ll post some pics so you can see what I’m working with. I believe the inner transom skin was cut out. What I need is to figure out how I need to rebuild it.
