I’m looking for recommendations on what you use for a plug for the aluminum motor bracket.

I’ve had the same one when I bought it and it finally broke this year and Grady white does not supply them..it’s a plastic thread plug. What and where are you finding plugs for the drain underneath the motor bracket

Seems odd that Grady White wouldn't carry the plug, as the 232 Gulfstream wasn't discontinued until what, mid/late last year? I'd go to your local marine shop with the current plug, have them measure it for you and get the same replacement. I'd also maybe consider getting something that's aluminum or a similar metal, as opposed to plastic. As plastic can become brittle, crack or break, can get the threads stripped, etc. There's a couple places around here that I usually go to to see if I can get something local... the first one is called Harbor Marine, then there's West Marine and if it's nuts/bolts/fasteners or other items then Tacoma Screw is a great resource for me as well. I imagine you likely have something relatively similar in your area?
