Got a good deal on a power assist unit. Currently planning out where to mount it. The hydraulic lines come through a tube on the SB side. So I am thinking that would be the most logical option. Would you mount it on the inside of the transom? Kind of hesitant creating new holes in a 30+ year old transom. Has anyone done this? Any pictures? What can I expect as far as steering? I have twin 150 HP Yamahas with one steering cylinder and the bracket link. Last year I replaced the seals and bled the steering. I am happy with the steering but just thought the power assist would be even nicer.
