have a 2018 suzuki df300 w/ 126 hours that’s overheating at idle. I replaced water pump, water pump housing, water pump sleeve, thermostats, and poppet valve and I also used water pump RTV where housing meets the plate. Before replacing all of these parts the motor would overheat at idle in neutral and in gear. After replacing all of these parts I took the boat to the boat ramp and tested on the trailer; the motor seems to only overheat in gear at idle at 600-700 rpm but seems to be holding strong in neutral when not under load and rpm’s are closer to 700.if I bump idle to around 800 it does not overheat. Also, I didn’t see any corrosion in the water channels when I changed thermostats and minimal behind the internal anodes but my next step is to use the salt away flush. Is there anything I’m missing?
