Last summer I noticed that one of the drain holes in the motor well was recessed behind the outer skin. This was a clear indication that I had water intrusion inside my transom. I am the original owner of this 1991 Tournament. In February, I decided to take advantage of the lower winter rates and have it built by my local marina.

That still made it a very expensive project, but at least in the future I can feel secure in either using or selling the boat

Nice work. I'll be replacing the transom on my 82 model in a few weeks. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind taking a picture of the splashwell from inside the boat. I plan on raising my transom from 20" to 25" and May need to rework the area. Thanks
