1976 21 foot grady help

I bought my boat a couple of weeks ago with alot of problems. The omc 165 does not run, the floor was rotten, trailer is going to break, etc. One of the things was the gauges were all in a box and the wires were not labeled. Can anybody help me sort out the correct wires for these? I bought a new motor on tuesday and replaced the floor a few days ago. The last step is to get the gauges going and i have no clue where to start. All help is aprieciated.

Grady manuals only go back to 1978, but I think it should still be ok for your wiring needs.

Hi Peter,

I have a 1977 Chesapeake 212. It's set up with the original Mercruiser 470 power.

All the gauges work and if you'ld like, you're welcome to come take a look at it and diagram out the wiring for the gauges.

I'm located in Shapleigh, ME, about 1:15hr from you. I also have an extra trailer that fits this boat for cheap $ if you're interested.
