I am in the middle of a major rebuild of a 1980 kingfish,everything has been stripped out from the cabin area,the rear deck has been removed,engines,old tank( still in good condition) all electrics stripped.the holes in the transom filled. A large extension bracket is being fabricated to take an outboard engine,an Evenrude etec 250 hp.new stringers put in to take a new deck and foam will be poured in all voids to give more buoyancy,the boat will be a fair bit lighter than before
