1982 off shore wa

Considering purchase of this boat --1982 hull with a 1999 225 hp Mariner OB with only 210 hrs. Boat has been lift kept and well maintained.

What should I be looking out for? Stringers, cockpit floor, transom?

What is a good price?

look at all above and get it surveyed......an 82? less than 20.....maybe less than 10...depends on how well its holding up.

Please get a thorough survey and don't do it on the cheap. Any boat that is almost 20 years old is likely to have many issues. If they are a bunch of minor stuff that is one thing, if there are structural issues you could be buying someone elses big problem. Pay special attention to the transom, stringers and deck coring are examined very well and a moisture meter is used.
