I bought this boat at the end of last season. It was a repo so I got a great deal on it. It has twin 200 Johnson outboards. The area in front of the motors had some sort of divider or something which is missing so when I'm drift fishing and have a full load of fuel water is coming through and onto the deck (which obiously drains out the scuppers) creating a wet fishing experience. Does anyone have a picture of this piece and/or know where I may be able to buy one. Otherwise I may have to just make one so the pic will definately help. Thanks

On my 22' Seafarer there is a splashwell divider that folds back towards engines, and down flush with cockpit floor. It is mounted with two piano hinges, one each side. When water is rough or following sea, fold it up, and there are two hooks that hold it in place. It is made from fiberglass, about 3/4" thick, with a wood core, I believe.

Even before the new bracket, water never came in through the scuppers on my sailfish. How far under water are they? Mine would be just over the top of the scupper when FULL. Is the rubber flap over the scupper there? Have you checked the bracket to see if it's full of water?

Thanks VeroWing. Grog, thte scuppers are partially under water when the boat is full and I just replaced all the scupper valves before I put her in the water, so I know they're functional. The problem is not water through the scuppers but over the transom when drifting in choppy seas. Because there is no divider the water comes right onto the deck, was just looking for a picture of what one (divider) looks like so I can duplicate it. Thanks for your response gentlemen and VeroWing could you maybe shoot me a pic of what yours looks like? Thanks again.

I would think Grady customer service could provide you with production drawings. They seem to have everything people ask for. Just a thought, good luck.

The Grady site has the user manual and catalog from that year

is from that catalog. Hope it helps.
