recently bought a 1986 24 offshore with twin 150 yamaha's. At one time the main fuel tank was removed. The aux tank is still there and the engines are hooked up to that tank. I would like to get another main tank. Where to get one? Also anyone have pics on how everything plumbed to use 2 tanks? I'm sure there has to be valves and such

Hi - you might try cutting and pasting the following line into the Google Search window - you should get lots of hits:

"fuel tank" "offshore 24" site:www.greatgrady.com

Here are some photos of the plumbing for the two tank setup on my 94 Sailfish. There are two filters and two switches, one for each engine. The switches can each select from the main or aux tanks.

I was happy with my recent tank purchase from Florida Marine Tanks. They were the oem manufacturer as far as I know. I made a thread a while back about my single 93 gallon tank which may help you a bit.

Well it seems after further research my boat never had the dual tank setup. I have one tank by the cockpit. The only thing in the rear compartment are they fuel fill hose and vent. I traced the hoses and they go up by the fuel fill by the cockpit. The second fuel tank feed opening was never drilled or installed. According the manual i got it listed it as a dual tank setup. But it never was installed at factory. So i'm gonna assume it has one 95 gallon fuel tank. I guess i'll have to run out all the fuel and then fill the tank back up
