I’m back my boats and hoes buddies, foam is getting ripped out from between the stringers. Getting ready to start supporting the hull between the stringers before I start ripping out the existing stringers.
side note: it’s a load a damn foam lmao underestimated the total amounts of trash bins it would take to dump….. luckily some neighbors were for the cause and have been letting me fill the remaining space within their trash cans lol

I have a question for anyone still following this tread, I need some advice on which side I should cut out to replace the transom? (thinking about cutting the inside)
Also the stringers are 1/2” or 5/8”? I’m thinking of using 3/4” coosa or would I be fine with 1/2” coosa?

If you're current access is really good to the inside (probably is) then that's an easier replacement/repair because it doesn't have to as aesthetically pleasing. But then you're cutting around the stringers and up under the gunwales a bit? The outside, of course, is "easier" to do the actual work.
I have the more than enough access inside and either way I’m replacing the stringers and etc after, guess I’m cutting out the gunwales in the rear a bit then. I’m going to start the transom this weekend. I’ll post pics of the progress.
