1986 Seafarer 228 control cable length?

Anyone know the length of the throttle/shift control cables for the 1986 Seafarer 228?

I got a set of nearly new 22' Teleflex cable with the 225 Merc I bought and was wondering if they will be reusable after I do the bracket conversion on my 227. Thanks.

Grady used a 22' cable for the 228. Some people go longer (24') and make a loop inside the boat. Your 22' should be fine.
