1987 Offshore 240

Nice Offshore. I owned a 1986 that I restored and repowered, great all around boat in the bays & offshore.

Why do you keep the trailer up on blocks? Is it so you can tilt the engine all the way down? Just Curious....

Could be to allow full tilt of the engine. Other reasons I can think of are more clearance between hull and ground for bottom painting or to prevent the trailer tires from leaving depressions in the asphalt driveway.

Sorry, don't visit much this time of year.

Blocked up the trailer so I get gut clearance for painting bottom. I use a mechanics crawler. With a helper it's a 1-hr chore rather than a half day ordeal.
