1987 yamaha 150 2-stroke blew again

Congrats finding the culprit. I thought that engine looked way too clean! Simply amazing the engine ran as long as it did pumping water into it!
Hopefully you can get it back into the water soon enough to enjoy another few trips before old man winter shows up.
 
It will be running this weekend. I wired the remote tank pump to the battery and took 15 min till oil started coming out the hose. I ordered all new deck fills and seals for the remote tank.
