Any pictures out there of Helm Modifications? I have the 232 Gulfstream and my new Chartplotter doesnt fit in the helm so I was going to mount it off to the left. I was wondering if someone out here has modified the storage compartment to accomodate a larger Plotter.

Hang on bracket from bottom side of electronics box?

Here's a Grady dash with a seapod mounted next to the helm box. I'd like to do the same with a 12" unit, but the seapod for it is ~15" wide :wow

That is really awesome.

Did you relocate the Guages or are they electronic only in the display?

This isn't my boat, but the gauge is a Yamaha 6YC Information Station. I have the bare panel in this pic in the for sale section, free of charge just pay shipping. At one point I was considering making the flip out door an acrylic panel and flush mounting a unit there, but decided against it. Once my dash is back together I'll post a pic or 2 here, I'm getting antsy!

I was able to fit a NSS12 evo2 into the dash. I had to remove the lower lip of the dash opening and mill out some space on the top. I made an aluminum dash panel and painted it black. The end result is pretty clean. It should be an improvement over the 7" unit I had inside the dash.

PO of my boat did similar, filled in dash with king starboard.

That looks sweet, is there a black box for the radio behind the panel as well?

The VHF radio is in the upper box. That is a remote mic with a cable that runs from the dash panel to the upper box. I don't really need that but I like the remote mic since it has a speaker built in which makes it easier to hear when running at speed.
