i had a 2004 Seafarer 228 that would get an 1” or 2 of water in the cockpit when you had a couple guys in the back of the boat.
Also had a ~2015 Tournament 225 that did the same thing. On that boat, Grady supplied scupper plugs.
Both of those boats were bracket boats which likely exacerbates the issue a bit.

I just saw this post. Sorry for asking the same question.

My 1988 Seafarer is sitting low also and a little water is coming in through the scuppers by the stern. With mine I’m thinking it’s a combination of old scuppers on the stern allowing water coming in, a new motor that’s a 4-stroke and about 50 pounds heavier that the old motor and lastly (my biggest fear) is that water is getting into the bracket. Not sure why that freaks me out, but it does, I need to pop the inspection cap off and check it out, but I’m nervous.
