Anyone have suggestions on how they fixed the runaway wiper motor. The ground wire is off the motor and as soon as I plug it in the motor runs at high speed and does not respond to the helm switch.

There are two power wires and I believe one is for the park function. Unhook one of the orange wires and it will stop. You will then have no park function and will have to turn off wipers where you want them to stop. Mine did the same thing and I found this fix on the internet. I can't remember which wire is wh8ch so you will have to try both one at a time
Marina fixed this while I was away on business. Hate to admit I don't know what they did bit the wiper works.

That's how mine always were on the 226 - thought it was normal. 8^)
