I am considering buying my 5th Grady, a 1999 Seafarer 226, but I cant find any pictures on the interwebs that show where a cockpit shower is located.

Havent seen the boat in person yet.

Help or pics are great.

TIA

Yes it has the option. Its an older person who doesnt remember and I havent seen the boat yet.

Where is it, that was the question. Thanks for answering my question with a question.

On 228 models its clearly on the transom gunnel.

Again, I cant find any pics for the 226 model location, and is not in grady brochures.

Wow, a bit rude with your response, huh? The questions were meant as a guidance to try and help.

But here's an obvious statement that apparently eluded you... look for it when you go see the boat! What does it matter if you know where it is ahead of time? Are you worried about your ability to actually find it? Your question, quite honestly, is akin to asking about what does a certain color look like and stating you can't find pics of that color.

Be patient - you'll see it when you see it. It doesn't really matter if you know where it is ahead of time.

I'm sure someone else will actually know - such as possibly under the gunwale - but again, the questions I asked were simply meant to help guide towards an answer. It doesn't require a jerk answer when someone is just trying to help.

So basically you're not familiar with this model, but chimed in because you have nothing better to do with your life than hang out on an internet forum to make yourself feel useful. Wow.

I know up in Maine some folks still think the Earth is flat, coming from a state lead by Janet Mills, but maybe do us all a favor and only reply when you have something relevant to add to the conversation. And you are very perceptive figuring out I'm being a wise a$$, because I am.

Thank you for stating the obvious, very helpful (that's called sarcasm).

It was an option not standard. I found a couple of 226s with the option. The shower was in the port gunnel just before the step-up to the walk around.

Thank you Sean.

As for the two other replies (Dennis & Ekea).

Im sorry I hurt your feelings by asking why you are providing no useful information and wasting everyone else’s time.

The internet can be a tough place when your own self-worth is so low that you depend on getting validation for your life from complete strangers. And from the looks of it (dennis - 8,000 posts Ekea 850+), you both are really trying hard to find it.

Best of luck to you both on that endeavor, the rest of us are going to get back to real life now.

I think I figured it out... Johnny was one of those kids (probably still is) that tried to get others to do his homework for him and got made when someone didn't. And also got mad when someone was trying to help him if they didn't know the exact answer but were spending their personal time to help someone else. Probably the same person that cuts you off when you're driving and then gives YOU the finger when you beep.

Too bad he didn't read everything I wrote - he missed the answer. But maybe that was because I used too many words..... I guess it IS my fault....
