I had a clogged oil filter on my 250 OX66 which i replaced. Now trying to get oil tank reconnected to the remote filler. If i could pull the the remote filler cap and hose out, it would make the job a lot easier. Ideas??

I am not sure what you are asking. If you want to flush the remote tank, the best way is to take it out and claean it. Often, you have to remove the tank to change the filter screen. You indicated that you did change that screen. Did you pull the tank?
yes, i pulled and cleaned the tank. I was having difficulty in getting it reinstalled. Finally got it back in today. Thanks!
usually yamalube, but just once used some mercury oil. I was told that it was a bit thicker than yamaha oil and would clog yamaha filters
