To make a long story short, I’m trying to switch back to my original Helm seat. A few years ago I switched over to an aftermarket at first I was happy and now I’m no longer satisfied. I went to go lay out all the parts in hopes to try to figure out how to put the original one back together as I had to disassemble it to use some of the old parts for the aftermarket seat. And now that I have everything laid out, I just realized the part that the pedestal slides into is cracked as pictured below. Does anyone know where to source this?IMG_3187.jpeg

Yes, right right there in the photos below. I never noticed it to be honest and I did. I would’ve tried to source one years ago. I just don’t know how to go about getting another one because it’s a complete assembly at least that white plastic part that tightens to the pedestal.IMG_3189.jpegIMG_3191.jpeg

Yup, that piece snapped off.
You won't find that part, you will need to purchase a new slider assembly. It doesn't have to be Pompanette. Measure the spacing between the mounting holes ( lengthwise and widthwise) Hopefully those will be one of the typical standards.
Note also that there should be a plastic cylindrical sleeve mounted on the seat post that fits into the hole. Pedestal diameter would be 2 7/8 in.
