Hello,
Unfortunately the rear facing fuel vent cover on the starboard side clipped the corner of a dock and broke. It is still sort of intact, but I'm definitely looking to replace it soon here so water doesn't end up getting in. Does anyone know where I could find this fuel vent cover? Or if you could recommend an alternative. Anything to point me in the right direction. Have been having trouble tracking down anything that look remotely like the one that it has. Might not be calling it the right name.

I will need to repair the fiberglass as well, already have that lined up.

Thank you in advance.

J

Google boat tank vent fittings

Get stainless steel or chrome over brass Do not buy ZAMAC or chrome/zinc.

Stainless steel may run a rust line

Most Grady had vented fuel fills. That is probably a waste tank vent

You need to know how the vent hose was connected to the fitting as well as the size of the hose. A clam shell is not enough. There are flush tank vents available that have to be installed like a thru hull ( which it really is) using a nut on the inside.
I don't know what the anchor locker vent looks like but if that is what yours is, a clam shell may work fine.
The fiberglass around the old fitting is beat up and should be sealed at a minimum to prevent water seeping into the coring/fiberglass. A picture or a description of where the fitting is, may help identify it.
