Hello All - Considering putting my Marlin up for sale, looking to move into a larger boat. Please let me know if there is any interest out there, best to call me or text to (908) 963-1997.
All options except bow thruster. Multiple Garmin displays, Phantom radar, 1kW chirp and structure scan transducers, Garmin smart pump autopilot, DuraBright lights, built in electric Kenyon grill in cockpit, upgraded smart TV, etc. The boat was equally used for family outings and fishing off of New Jersey. She is in excellent shape.

Do an internet search like you were buying and see where the asking prices are for comparable craft, allow for your particular market area and put a price on it that you can feel good about. Don't let the buyers be in charge. Makes you look wishy-washy when you can't make a decision. They will wonder if you were hesitant about other decisions concerning the boat. Be the captain of your world. My $.02.

Does it have a gas or diesel gen? Hours on motors?

Worst thing any serious seller can do is post an unrealistically high number... scares potential buyers away. I make serious fair market price offers and I only accept the same when selling my boats. Not a fan of "tire kicking" on either side of the deal. JMHO

... engine hours in conjunction with the price might entice the right species in the chum slick. IMO the two most important bits of info

It appears as though maybe he reconsidered? I don't see any listings of his boat on any of the main boat selling websites, at least as of yesterday, nor do I see it on the New Jersey Craigslist site.

I did see it listed on TheHullTruth the other day, not sure if seller is monitoring that at all

Hello everyone and thanks for all the replies! Apologies for not responding, battled Covid for a bit then the rest of the family got it a couple weeks later so been very out of touch. I appreciate all the advice and to the person who responded with the comment on a soft sell you are right, it pains me greatly to even advertise the Marlin because I really don't want to sell it but its the responsible thing to do to finish getting the kids through college etc.
I was hoping a solid buyer would get with me and we could talk. 701.7P/ 703.6S hrs on the F300's. I am always steps away from listing it with boat trader because I know it would probably sell there LOL. I did however have two 'soft' offers near my asking price of $145 didn't jump on them. I am still considering selling the boat, best is to text me to (908) 963-1997 as I mentioned in my original posting, very busy these days w/ family, work, lofe in general ans Im sure all of you are. Wish you all to be well!!

BR,
Andrew
