2007 Sailfish Pompanette seat post diameter size?

Does anybody know the seat post diameter on a Pompanette seat for a 2007 Sailfish? I'm assuming it is 2-7/8" but not anywhere close to the boat to be able to measure it.

Need to order a sliding seat base replacement and would like to install next time I get to the boat but I forgot to measure the seat post diameter - measured everything else!

My bet would be 2 7/8
By saying 'seat base' are you referring to the pedestal base that bolts to the deck or the seat slider mechanism attached to the seat? . Note that seat mounts/sliders come in different sizes, mostly having to do with the spacing of the bolt holes. Therefore you need to pull off the seat and measure the bolt spacing. You may also want to confirm that the bolts (screws) will come out. I have had a miserable time in the past when the bolts were frozen and the threaded inserts spun in the seat.

I do believe that 2 7/8" is correct.
