200hp Seafarer

Depends whether it has a hardtop. My '99 228 w/ 200 SWS ran 42-43 all day long. Was a nice, albeit thirsty, rig.

The hardtop will cost you 2-3 mph due to weight and drag.
 
good nough.. The one I am looking at has a hard top. Plenty of power, with the baitwell full, fishing gear and four people??
 
I just but a 200hp Evinrude on my 1991 228 seafarer goes along real well. I have not taken alot of people out yet to judge , but overall i think it moves along real good.
 
I have a 98 seafarer with a 200 yamaha Saltwater series and it runs great fully loaded with 4 people.
