2015 Windshield Frames

This reminds me of my 1993 Mako. The windshield frame came from the factory black. Don't know if it was powder coated or painted. Probably painted back then. Anyway, I think the look is sleek. My question would be how well does it hold up. Will it fade after 5 years in the sun ? My Mako was stolen after 3 seasons, so I can't comment on how it held up. Thanks for posting the pic. I like the look.
