I just got a 2021 370. Caught some tuna. Next day the cabin smelled like tuna blood from the bilge. I had a 330 express and blood did get in the bilge from the cockpit floor hatch but it always stayed aft. I would clean the bilge and shop vac out the water. With the 370 it is much harder to do and would need to be done the same day. Does anyone else have this issue? If so have you come up with any ideas to help?
Thanks,

With most GW's, the forward bile is slightly lower than the aft bilge... so if enough water gets in the aft bilge, it will flow (along with whatever else is in there) to the forward bilge and then stay there. Can you plug the forward bilge ahead of time? Otherwise, at slow speed, trim the engines up to get the bow nice and high and flood the forward bilge with some water to wash it out - with the bow high enough, it will flow to the aft bilge and get pumped out. Doing that a few times should pretty much get rid of the blood and you would be left with just a little water in the aft bilge. Finish with a little eco-soap and water if needed (or something similar).
