2021 Freedom 235 Cup holder replacement

Hello. I am looking to replace the transom cup holder with a combo rod/cup holder. I’ve seen what appear to be high quality units but given the location of the cup holder and how tight it is on the underside, I am wondering if anyone has had any success with this type of replacment? How much clearance is there on the underside of the transom and what are the dimensions of the unit?

What is the cut-out hole size needed vs the existing hole?

Those answers are super easy to figure out and once you do that, you'll know if it will fit.
