208 Grady stern seat storage pans

I have a 2000 208 Grady. I was on a 2005 208 Grady the other day and the owner lifted the seat and had storage pans under the seat lids. He said they were factory. Does anyone know if these storage pans are available and what the part numbers are?

Interesting. I wasn't aware that there was a factory option for inserts on your model year. I am not sure if they would fit since the lip of the lid fits into the water channel.
There was a discussion somewhere years ago about some boaters who found Rubermaid tubs that with a little trimming, fit into lockers but it wasn't specific to 208 models
 
love to have them on my 226. but could not find them
 
I will take some pictures of them the next time I am on my friends boat. I looked at four 208 Grady's last fall when I was in search of one to purchase. They all had the storage pans. I did't think much of them at the time because I was looking at boats not storage. I know when I purchased my 2000 Grady there were none. It wasn't important at the time. I was reminded of them last week when I was on board my friends boat and he asked me to turn the battery switch on. When I lifted the seat and the cover board there it was a storage pan. It not only adds storage but it also lets keep water from entering the battery compartment and the storage on the other side below the seat. The added storage is a great place for passengers to throw their wallet, phone, or other belonging that they don't want to get wet while boating.

I did some digging and it looks like the "Lift Out Storage Boxes" were an option in 2004 thru at least 2008, but not in 2000 through 2003. So that leads to two questions; Would a 2004 or later Lift Out Box fit a 2000 and if so, can you buy them from Grady? I don't know.

That will be an easy thing for me to answer. I can remove one of my friends and install in my boat. My gut says it will because his 2008 is identical to my 2000. The hull and cockpit are the same in appearance. I will be boating possibly with him next week. Does Grady White have any association with this Forum?
