Considering upgrading from my 180 to a 216 or 236 fisherman. I have a bigger boat for fishing trips and primarily would use the smaller boat for day trips to the beach, sandbar, restaurants, etc. Thats how we currently use our 180 fisherman, however the 180 is just so small and exchanging the forward casting platform on the 180 for proper seating (as in the 216 and 236) would be a huge win. Can any current 216 or 236 owners chime in on pros/cons? I know the major differences are transom configuration (bench seat vs corner jumps seats, walk through transom door). Just trying to decide if the 216 will service my purposes well or if the 236 is going to be a better fit. Usually no more than 4 ppl on board, and if running offshore, I'm near the coastline for shallow snorkeling/free-diving.
