225 Tournament - Replacing Speakers

Hi All

Some great information here, always been a good read.

I was hoping someone may have been through replacing speakers on a 225 Tournament in the past. Would anyone be able to tell me the model number of the standard Kenwoods on the 2005 225 tournament, and also perhaps know the max depth of speakers that can be installed in their place (by helmsmans and passengers chairs)

Would measure myself but unfortunately out of the country so cant get to the boat, and want to buy here in Aus where the kit will be 1/3rd cheaper than back home

I would wait until you can pull the speakers and measure. Just eat the extra cost for the peace of mind of doing it right the first time. Kind of like wood work. Measure twice, cut once. If you rely on information that turns out to be wrong, then you are really out some cash.
